Our premises consist of a model settlement, built in an area of 1 ½ acres. The houses follow local traditional patterns, constituting the ideal place for relaxing vacations in a natural environment.
Vassilikos is a thickly wooded and planted place, certified as an area of particular natural beauty. It combines vast olive plantations, pine and cypress woods with extended sandy beaches with crystal clear waters.
Every building has been constructed along the lines of the local traditional architecture and has been tastefully decorated, so as to make you feel at home.
A few minutes walk from the houses is Gerakas beach along with the homonymous cape. The trade name of our firm is nothing more than the name the cape used to bear in antiquity.
If you are in a mood of walking and you don't want to use any means of transport, there are plenty of small taverns, serving local delicacies, groceries to cover all your everyday needs, coffee bars and steak houses in walking distances from the houses.
Arginusa Holiday Homes offer a choice between three different types of accommodation:
studios [there are two of them, one next to the other], maisonettes [there are also two buildings of that type, the one next to the other] and independent houses [each of them built separately]. All the above are fully furnished and offer fully equipped kitchens.
There is a cleaning service, on a daily basis, while bed sheets and towels are replaced twice a week.
The houses are surrounded by green-clad gardens, away from traffic and passing cars, which makes them ideal for children. Every building has a large shaded veranda, the perfect place for relaxing.
Arginusa Holiday Houses are 15 kms from Zakynthos Town and 17 kms from the airport.
If you are looking for diving and watersports these are available at St. Nicholas beach which is 1.5 kms away. If you wish to take a tour in the Gulf of Laganas there is a mooring place 1 km away in Porto Roma. If you are looking for horse riding this can be arranged from Logothetis Farm which is 800 metres away.
Each house can sleep up to five persons and consists of: living room with sofa bed; one double and one twin bedroom, both of them with fans; kitchen with two electric plates, fridge, coffee maker and dining table; large bathroom with shower and WC and a large private veranda. During high season (July and August) air-conditioning is included in prices, while there is an extra charge during low season.
Each maisonette sleeps up to four people and consists of: living room with sofa bed; kitchen with two electric plates, fridge, coffee maker and dining table; large bathroom with shower and WC large private verandah on the ground floor while a staircase leads from the living room to a double bedroom with fan. During high season (July and August) air-conditioning is included in prices, while there is an extra charge during low season.
